Board of Directors
Lynn Hapke, Secretary, a Deerfield resident since 1997, enjoys live music, and is passionate about being a Girl Scout leader, skiing, living near the ocean, UNH Hockey and Football, hosting friends and family mostly from the Rochester NY area and spending time with her husband Ric, and two daughters, Laura and Leah. Her work experience includes being a Benefits and Insurance Representative for the past 10 years and helping her clients with their health insurance needs and understanding the intricacies of Medicare and the Affordable Care Act. She has a Masters in Human Resources Management and has worked in a variety of nonprofit environments around the state. Working in the community and seeing people in their homes, Lynn sees how good people may need a little bit of help once in a while and loves that Womenaid is respectful and can help in a timely manner; and that 100 percent of donations made to Womenaid go directly back to our community. She also has a lot of respect for the other board members and their commitment to the organization.
Fran Miller is a retired special education teacher and administrator who holds an M.S. from the University of Tennessee. Fran lives in Deerfield with her husband and enjoys reading, gardening, knitting, spending time with grandchildren and volunteering. “Working with Catamount Womenaid allows me to serve local communities while having lots of fun at our fundraising events.” Fran is a diligent secretary for the organization and has been involved since 2011.
Deb Horton, President, lives in Deerfield with her family. She is a social worker to whom service to the community has always been a priority. She learned about Womenaid when she applied as a validator to a different Womenaid and recognized how a small amount of money made such a difference to the recipient. When Deb searched for a Womenaid in her town and realized there was none, she recruited a group of dedicated women and formed a women-led board to create Catamount Womenaid. When she has free time, Deb practices gratitude and mindfulness and hangs out with her kids down the shore.
Christie Gerasimchik lives in Epsom with her husband Steve. They are the owners of The Lily Inn and Boutique. They moved to the area in 2010 from the Buffalo, NY area where they were very involved in the community. As a business owner there, she belonged to and was the president of the local Chamber of Commerce for many years, devoting her time to this and many other volunteer programs in the area. Moving to New Hampshire and leaving her children and grandchildren behind, she is excited about what Catamount Womenaid offers the local community and enjoys getting to know the community and giving back.
Laurie Bienefeld, Treasurer. Laurie lives in Deerfield with her husband Wes. She is the Director of Finance at Northeast Delta Dental in Concord NH. A graduate of Franklin Pierce College, Laurie has been active with many nonprofits. She is a 2015-2016 Hoffman-Haas Fellow through NH Nonprofits as well as active with The New England Women’s Leadership Institute. Laurie enjoys going on trips and adventures with her husband and hanging out with their daughter.
Debra Coe is a Northwood resident. She has worked in nonprofits for decades and is dedicated to helping underserved populations. She is an avid rug braider and can be seen in the Arts & Crafts Building demonstrating her skills during the Deerfield Fair. When she is not making rugs or teaching rug braiding, she enjoys traveling and contra-dancing.
Donna Keeley lives in Pittsfield. She began her career with the utility industry in Customer Service and never looked back. Her passion in life is serving people, helping them problem solve and figuring out a resolution, no matter what it takes. She has been an active member of the Suncook Rotary Club for many years and is the newest member of the Board.
