Catamount Womenaid provides a renewable grant of $500 to each of the eight schools in our six towns each school year. The purpose of the School Essentials Fund is to provide money to schools so that guidance counselors and school nurses can easily and quickly purchase smaller, essential items for students. Appropriate items might include but are not limited to clothing, shoes, winter or rain gear, school supplies, backpacks, lunch boxes, food, or field trips.
