Deb Horton
Deb Horton
President & Founder. Deb lives in Deerfield. She is a clinical social worker and service to the community has always been a priority. She learned about Womenaid when she applied as a validator to a different Womenaid and recognized how a small amount of money made a large difference. When Deb realized there was no Womenaid in Deerfield, she recruited a group of dedicated women and formed a women-led board to create Catamount Womenaid. Deb has also been a board member for Whitaker Place Assisted Living in Concord since 2004. In her free time, Deb hangs out with her family, loves the beach, and travels every chance she gets.
Fran Miller

Fran is a retired special education teacher and administrator. She lives in Deerfield with her husband and enjoys reading, gardening, knitting, spending time with
grandchildren and volunteering. Fran has been a Catamount Womenaid board member since 2011 and is proud of the growth of this organization. “As a board
member, I have enjoyed promoting Catamount Womenaid in our area, meeting many
compassionate community members, doing lots of fund-raising events, and knowing
that we are having a significant impact in our neighbors’ lives.”
Cathy Provencher
Cathy Provencher
Vice President. Cathy Provencher and her husband recently moved to Deerfield from Merrimack. While relative newcomers to Deerfield, they are Granite Staters through and through. Cathy, a CPA, has spent her entire career in NH public service, currently serving as the Chancellor of the University System of NH, and previously as the NH State Treasurer. Cathy has served on a number of non-profit boards throughout the years, is deeply committed to the quality of life in NH and is honored to be a small part of having meaningful impact in her new community.

Donna lives in Pittsfield. She began her career with the utility industry in Customer Service and never looked back. Her passion in life is serving people, helping them problem solve and figuring out a resolution, no matter what it takes. She has been an active member of the Suncook Rotary Club for many years and is excited to be able to assist her neighbors with the Catamount Womenaid board.
Laurie Bienefeld

Treasurer. As Vice President of Finance for Northeast Delta Dental, where she has worked since 2011, Laurie provides leadership and direction to the Accounting/Finance department for the premier dental benefits provider in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. She has a long history of accounting and finance experience in healthcare. Laurie is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management. A Hoffman-Haas Fellow, Laurie also serves on the Board of Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire (CCCNH), a center to assist individuals facing domestic violence issues. She is also on the Board of Evergreen Place, a New Hampshire-licensed Supported
Assisted Living Facility in Manchester. Additionally, Laurie serves as Trustee of the Trust Fund for the town of Deerfield, where she lives with her husband.

Amy has been involved with Catamount Womenaid as a volunteer for various events since its early days, inspired by the direct impact that this organization makes on families who are working through challenging times. Spending her youth in Manchester, Amy started her 35 year telecommunications career in Boston, eventually working her way back to NH. She is now a Realtor with Deerfield’s Parade Properties. Amy lives in Deerfield with her husband and is grateful to have brought up their daughter and son in this wonderful community. To re-energize, she takes any opportunity to be outside in any season - from mountains to coastline – with family, friends and pups.

Lisa is a lifelong resident of NH who has grown up within a culture of actively serving others. After decades of volunteering for large non-profits, it became clear that the backbone of our state is our willingness to step up for those in our communities when they are most in need. Catamount Womenaid is a local backbone and Lisa is ready to fortify their efforts. After a career at Verizon, Lisa is Director of Communications at the University System of NH and lives in Epsom with her husband and three golden retrievers.
